Opera's plantings
In 1881, planting was also done near the First City Theatre (now the National Opera) built in 1863. Another charming place on the canal banks was created here by Kuphalt’s. Bushes of Italian pines with lady’s bower were placed on a terrace along direct paths. At the end of the theatre building, a fountain was added to the sculptural group using a zinc mould created by A. Folc in 1887.
